BOOKING POLICY

KAR Presentations operates on the basis that once a booking request is received from any person (juristic or human) to book an individual(s) on any course(s), that such person has done so knowingly and has already completed all of their own internal authorisation procedures necessary and understand(s) that the pro-forma invoice issued in response to such booking request is binding upon such person at such time. Such pro-forma invoice is due and payable upon issue and payment is required prior to the course being held. The pro-forma invoice converts into a tax invoice upon payment or on the date the course is held.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Due to regulatory and practical difficulties KAR Presentations no longer offers a refund for cancellations of attendance of any person(s) booked on any course for which a pro-forma invoice has been issued i.e. a request for a booking and a pro-forma invoice are binding. Therefore, interested persons should be aware that once they have requested a booking, we will send them a pro-forma invoice. Such pro-forma invoice includes VAT, as we are a VAT vendor, and once paid, such pro-forma invoice immediately converts into a tax invoice for SARS purposes. Furthermore, after a course has been held any pro-forma invoice issued then also immediately converts into a tax invoice and is immediately due and payable. Payment for course attendance is required prior to any course being held; but in exceptional circumstances where KAR Presentations is familiar with the booking entity/person and has dealt with such person previously, KAR Presentations may agree to payment after a course is held. If any person(s) booked on a course cannot attend such course for reasons of poor health/illness, such reasons and a doctor’s certificate must be communicated to KAR Presentations and such person(s) will be included on the next course. Alternatively, if a person cannot attend a course for any reason other than ill health, such person may be replaced with another person, and such other person may attend the course – in such event the person originally booked will have to rebook for a future course. KAR Presentations will review the number of persons booked and confirmed on any course one week prior to the course and if such number of persons booked and confirmed is less than six, the course will be cancelled and all persons already booked on such course will be notified via email and given the option of attending one of the courses being held at a future date. Late booking requests may be accepted on an ad hoc basis by KAR Presentations.
